WYOMING — Original Leather Art

WYOMING is part of the 21GRAMS State Series, a body of work exploring place, identity, and story one U.S. state at a time through original leather art.

This piece draws from the rugged terrain, frontier spirit, and independence rooted in the American West. A lone figure stands forward-facing beneath open sky, steady and self-reliant. Mountain ranges rise behind him. A bison, powerful and grounded, anchors the foreground. Native flora and western landscape elements are carved and textured directly into the leather by hand using the Leather Tattooling Machine.
