Dennis Forrester is the founder of 21GRAMS and the inventor of tattooling. Not just the tool. The category. Tattooling is the application of American traditional tattoo methodology to leather as a medium using a needle-driven machine that embosses rather than penetrates. 

It is its own craft with its own method, its own visual logic, and its own standard. Dennis built it from scratch, documented it, named it, and took it on the road to prove it was real before anyone else believed it was.

The Leather Tattooling Machine is manufactured and distributed by Weaver Leather Supply through a partnership with 21GRAMS. Dennis is named as inventor. The machine exists because he built the proof first.

Tattooling is not a replacement for traditional leather tooling. It's an addition to it. That distinction matters. This category was built to widen the table, not flip it over.
