GEORGIA — Original Leather Art

GEORGIA is part of the 21GRAMS State Series, a body of work exploring place, identity, and story one U.S. state at a time through original leather art.

This piece draws from the red clay earth, agricultural heritage, and quiet strength woven into the Southern landscape. A central figure faces forward, steady and self-possessed. A hawk stands watch nearby. Peaches, rolling hills, and longleaf terrain are carved and textured directly into the leather by hand using the Leather Tattooling Machine.
